expertise in molecular membrane mechanics. All candidates must

The
La Jolla
Bioengineering
Institute is offering a postdoctoral position to perform research on
the mechanisms of cerebral malaria in the P. berghei rodent model and
the role of nitric oxide bioavailability. We seek a highly
motivated individual with demonstrated scientific productivity in
malaria research. The successful candidate will work synergistically
with our strengths in nitric oxide biology and microcirculatory
physiology. Applicants must have completed a PhD and/or MD degree and

participate in the development of new nanoparticle labels for highly
multiplexed cell and molecular analysis using Raman spectroscopy.
Experience in nanoparticle synthesis, surface coating, and
characterization for biomolecular analysis required. Experience in
immunoassays, spectroscopy, and/or molecular and cell analysis
