expertise in molecular membrane mechanics. All candidates must

The
La Jolla
Bioengineering
Institute is offering a postdoctoral position to perform research on
the mechanisms of cerebral malaria in the P. berghei rodent model and
the role of nitric oxide bioavailability. We seek a highly
motivated individual with demonstrated scientific productivity in
malaria research. The successful candidate will work synergistically
with our strengths in nitric oxide biology and microcirculatory
physiology. Applicants must have completed a PhD and/or MD degree and

- 6 years laboratory experience preferred. Perform molecular,
biochemical and cell biological techniques such as cell and tissue
culture preparation, immunoprecipitation, fluorescence microscopy,
immunohistochemistry, Western blot, and mammalian cell transfections. LJBI
